On the road back to Göteborg after a good visit to Stockholm, once again in snow chaos. Thank goodness we have a good 4 wheel drive car. We visited some of our current stores and met with some new potential butiks. I wish I could say more about them, but it's too early.

However, I did get confirmation today that London W8 which is Simon & Tomas' Design store will join us in the Gallerian. They will start off selling their Environmentally friendly British paint from Farrow & Ball. This is a fantastic paint which I have used myself for years. The bonus part is if you watch their show you can get free help on combining colours and see how they look in different environments.

While we have been away, the little mice at the office have been busy and now Pure & Simple is live for shopping. Not only do they have wonderful and fabulous products, their pictures are fantastic to look at! Check them out at Fabulous Living Shopping Gallerian.

Stockholm yet again...

Yesterday I was in Lund with Kanorika having fun taking pictures and helping them get ready to go into the Gallerian. They have some really beautiful products from Ilse Jacobsen, Gossip and Oleana. Then I was at Zebra in Helsingborg helping them so that they can put new products in.

Today, Patrik and I are in Stockholm. We went to see K&Co. It's always so nice to go into her store on Västmannagatan. It is so full of beautiful things that look good and smell good. I'm completely in love with the green curtains in her showroom that are made with Designers Guild fabric. I could just sit in there and look at them all day. We will have a whole selection of fabrics from Quadrille Fabrics for sale next week. K&Co has the exclusive rights to sell them in Scandinavia. Perfect that she's selling them online in the Gallerian.

Two more stores!!!

The week is just flying by. It feels like just yeaterday that I was at our newest "Butik" helping them get ready to go live. Well, actually it was on Monday and that was at Need & Friends in Mölnlycke just outside of Göteborg who is actually two boutiques in one. There is Need & Friends and Carolinas Hud & Skönhet in one location. Need & Friends sells beautiful clothing from Line of Oslo, Replay, Branting, Ilse Jacobsen, Ugg, Odd Molly and a few others.

Carolinas Hud & Skönhet not only offers top rate beauty treatments with her 20 years experience and sells Swedish made Organic Natural Skin Care products and Make-up by Dermanord and a natural Spa product from Thailand called Bath & Blom. Both of which will be available in the Gallerian the week after next.

Then late last night I found out that our newest customer is Tiffany Inredning from Drottninggatan in Stockholm. Tiffany Inredning specializes in quality silk fabrics from the best houses in Milano, Barcelona and Brussels, beautiful turkish tassels for your home decoration. They have the largest selection of tassels and have customers from around Europe

A week in the life....

Building an online shopping galleria takes a lot more work than one can ever count on. But I guess that goes with anything that we jump into whole heartedly. When we become passionate about what we do it doesn't feel like work.

This past week Louise and I went up to Stockholm to help Kiddies take pictures and get ready to go live with some of their products. On our way up there was snow chaos again. We got re-routed just before Södertälje. When we got back on the highway we put on the GPS to help us get to Ingarö where we were staying. Somehow this GPS did not want us to be on the highway and kept telling us to get off. So here we were 11 pm driving through the rural area outside of Stockholm wondering what was going on. Once we found the highway again we turned off the GPS and used our intuition to find our way. We were successful!!! The next day I checked the GPS settings and to our surprise it accidently got set to "avoid major routes". Lesson learned.

Spending the day with Kiddies in their Sickla Köpkvarter store is always enjoyable. The clothes are great and each picture I take I think how nice it will be for everyone who is looking for something nice for their children to wear. Clothes from Ralph Lauren, Gant, Noa Noa, Il Petit Bateau, Pepe Jeans and tons of shoes including UGG's from Australia. They're so cozy that I think I will have to get a pair for myself!

On our way back down to Göteborg we stopped at Valhalla Bakery again so get some more of their fantastic Italian bread. It has to be at least 1 meter long! That's a lot of sandwiches.
