Our second day in Stockholm has been as good as our first. Today A l'Olivier from, Stockholm joined us. A l'Olivier is what the name suggests, a store that sells specialty olive oil. It is a French company which started in 1822 in Paris. In the fall 2008 Tomas Cederlund and Simon Davies (TV designers Simon & Tomas) opened the store on Grev Turegatan in Östermalm. We have been eating at great restaurants and cafés - among our favorites Ristorante Capri, Ciao Caio Grande both in Östermalm and our favourite café in Södermalm called Mellqvist Kaffebar. It just so happens that one of the Stig Larsson trilogy movies was filmed here - Flickan som lekte med elden. When we watched the movie we were happily surprised to see our favourite spot.
Then to top it off, we have been staying at a great Bed & Breakfast which is run by another celebrity, TV Chef - Kråke Lithander. Now she has a Bed & Breakfast website called Days In Sweden where you can find and book B&B's in Sweden and abroad www.daysinsweden.com.
